Moving company in Charlotte, NC
John and the team took precautions when I hired them for my move. They protected my hardwood flooring, walls and staircase with thick and sturdy mats. Thanks to it, my property didn’t get damaged while they were moving in-and-out and the move was also wrapped up on time. I’m glad I hired such thoughtful movers!
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
The crew under Foreman Andrew direction is outstanding. I would suggest this company and their movers without hesitation.
I was disappointed with the overall service because the process was poorly organized and took longer than expected. Communication was inconsistent, making the experience unnecessarily stressful.
The movers were wonderful; they were careful with every item and followed my every instruction. I am so grateful to find such a great moving company.
