The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
My move was delayed because the crew arrived without the proper equipment. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day process. Very disappointing experience.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
Someone needs to take legal action to shut down this company. I recently moved from Fort Mill, SC to San Antonio, TX, and had the unfortunate experience of dealing with one of their sales reps, Michael **. He’s skilled at securing the sale but disappears once the deal is done. I faced several issues with this company: They promised to pick up our belongings two days before our departure from Fort Mill but showed up two days earlier, completely disrupting our schedule. During pick-up, they confirmed a delivery date of September 3rd but ended up delivering two weeks later. When the items finally arrived, many were damaged: 1) The king-size bed frame was missing legs, the headboard, and footboard. 2) The shoe rack had a broken leg. 3) My yoga mat was torn. 4) The office chair was missing a limb, causing me to fall when I tried to sit and lean back, resulting in minor injuries. 5) The bookshelf was broken. Other issues include: Once the sale is made, you're forced to deal with customer service for everything. Reaching them is nearly impossible – it took at least 10 calls just to get connected. It's by far the worst customer service I've ever encountered. The company is entirely focused on money, with zero regard for the customer. They refused to begin delivering my items until I paid the final installment. They even threatened to store my belongings and charge me storage fees if I didn’t make the payment. The delivery team was in a rush to get my signature on the delivery paperwork, even before completing the job. They outsource their claims process to a third-party company called **. Once delivery is complete, Mayzlin becomes unresponsive, and you're left to deal with this additional company, which has terrible reviews. I registered on their portal, only to find out my account won’t even be activated for 48 hours. This company shows no consideration for the customer’s needs. When they’re ready for pick-up, you must be available, but after that, you're left waiting indefinitely for them to deliver at their convenience. Overall, I would never recommend this terrible company for relocation. It's a nightmare from start to finish. Last but not the least, DO NOT believe in their positive reviews. Because, you will immediately see couple of 5 * reviews soon after I wrote this review to average it out. SO DO NOT BELIEVE IN THEIR 5 * REVIEWS AS THEY ARE EITHER PAID OR FAKE REVIEWS BY THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
The movers were amazing with our big family during our recent move. They were incredibly organized, responsive to everyone's needs and made sure each family member's belongings were packed and labeled correctly. Plus, 2 of them even went out of their way to grab wardrobe boxes for seasonal clothing. They treated all the possessions with terrific care and ensured the delivery was on time. We are glad we hired them!
Each of the four movers did a fantastic job. Polite, efficient, and expert, they did an excellent job. Compared to how I would have handled my possessions, they were really careful. They were very careful not to damage the doors or exits. They took an impossible bed apart and put it back together again. Their services were really worth the price. The decision to employ Mayzlin Relocation LLC was a good one.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
