Moving company in Charlotte, NC
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
I was disappointed with the overall service because the process was poorly organized and took longer than expected. Communication was inconsistent, making the experience unnecessarily stressful.
My transition to GA was smooth and stress-free, thanks to John and his team. David was helpful, courteous, and careful with my possessions. They covered the flooring with protective coverings to keep them clean and wrapped all of my furniture to keep it safe from scratches. Paul helped me set up my bedroom furniture and construct my bed frame.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
I had a great experience with James and his brother, who helped me move out of my SD apartment in few hours. They were very efficient and organized, and they even offered to transport some extra furniture to my sister’s place for free. They handled all my belongings, especially my large TV and my gaming console, which they wrapped and secured properly. I highly recommend them!
There was no damage to any of my belongings—including the furniture and other items I had. Both Scott and Eric were quite competent in their roles. Excellent job; I would definitely hire them again.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Mayzlin Relocation LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
