I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
I had never experienced something so horrible. To begin with, this is a broker rather than an actual moving business. They provide the idea that they have cars and drivers, even when they don't. While your contract is moved to a new company that quickly informs you that the new, higher charges do not align with the prior agreement, your furniture is held captive.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
The movers were very careful and quick with packing all of our possessions. Everything was double-checked for tight fastenings and wrapping before being loaded onto the vehicle.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
These men were great to work with, from start to finish. Remarkable efficient, too. Smoothest move of my adult life! I highly recommend Mayzlin Relocation LLC and wish you luck on your upcoming moving adventure.
I almost went with Mayzlin for my East Coast to West Coast move, however, in my research, I did not find good information. Tens of dozens personal testimonies found across social media and I found from a former customer and it was confirmed by a former employee that several (if not all) the 5 star reviews are fake - or at least they were up until around a year ago. Countless people had better quotes, including myself. This was the highest quote I received from 8 companies. :) Hope this helps!
The movers themselves were ok but the estimate we got and the quality assurance was terrible. they significantly underestimated how much truck space would be needed after a video tour of the house. Due to that they left 25% of our stuff and had to send a different truck later adding significant costs and taking no responsibility for the poor estimate on their part. Would avoid
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
