John made a stressful day feel easy. He showed up early, gave clear directions to his crew, and they got the job done smoothly. I really appreciated his calm approach.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
Company if full of it. You will fill out the online form and no response no quote. Then when you FINALLY get to speak to someone, they quote you something crazy like $3000 and REFUSE to send the quote via email. It just felt like they were trying to get over. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.

Our experience with Mayzlin Relocation was extremely disappointing due to major delivery delays and poor communication. Our shipment was picked up in late June, and our first available delivery date was early August. Despite that, we went weeks without any clear update on when our belongings would actually be routed or delivered. Throughout this period, communication from the company was inconsistent. We repeatedly reached out for basic status information and were often told they were “still working on the route” with no timeframe for when we could expect movement. With kids starting school and an empty house for weeks, the lack of transparency made an already stressful cross-country move much harder. To be fair, the loading & unloading crews were excellent — professional, hardworking, and careful. But the overall delivery process and customer communication fell far short of what we expected when choosing a full-service moving company. I’m sharing this so others can make an informed decision. If you’re considering Mayzlin, be aware that delivery timelines may be far longer than the move in date and updates can be difficult to obtain.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
March 23, 2026 I wish I would have used Rat Pack and not Mayzlin. They were quick to get you to sign up. Promised me my stuff would be stored up where I was moving, it wasn't. it was stored in California when I moved to Washington. They didn't tell you needed a cashier check or money order after you signed up for the remainer of the balance. They won't take your credit card after they sign you up. They will take Zelle but depending on the size of your move, your limit with Zelle may not be able to cover it. I gave them a 30 day notice on when I would like my stuff, they didn't start loading the truck until 5 days later. I was navigating through combining homes and taking care of my eldery mother. When my stuff arrived, they damaged the NEW floors in my NEW house. I multiple broken dishes, and potterybarn table. The movers they got to help unload the truck where from an ad they placed for day rate help and they DID NOT care about your stuff or your house. I have sent the reuired email for a claim on the broken items but we will see what they do. I don't hold much hope. Also when I called the sales person, he answered at first and said he would follow up - he didn't (Thanks Nick) and stop repsonding all together. Overall - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I called to get a quote for long distance move, spoke with Jack in an initial call. He acted cordial and was informing me about Mayzlin moving services and policies and advised me to do research on any other moving companies I was considering. He transferred me to Chris who said he was the manager, he gave me a quote which I considered. I then decided to take jacks suggestion about researching moving companies. I went to Mayzlin website and read their reviews. Some were good and other reviews were not. What stood out on the bad reviews was that , jack had informed me that the company doesn’t use third parties . I spoke with jack again (he initiated phone call) I informed him of this. I told him about the unfavorable reviews and he was dismissive of them and denied there was such a review and if there was it was from a long time ago (it was a new review). There are some unfavorable reviews. He was dismissive and rude, kept talking over me and then said “ okay lady “ in a mocking manner. I then hung up on him. Let me be clear and say I did not choose this company for my relocation and advise anyone who is looking to use this service to seriously rethink it. A company that uses sales representatives as this is a red flag.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
