Moving company in Garfield, NJ
Moving out of a third-floor walk-up is no joke, and I couldn't have done it alone. The guys from Howards Van Line didn't even complain about the stairs, and they got my heavy sofa down without hitting the walls. If you have a difficult apartment layout, you should hire them.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
The team was incredibly skillful when it came to loading the truck and maximizing the space. Edward had a great attitude and made sure we were comfortable with the predicament of moving such large pieces. I am very content with the level of service provided.
The move happened right after a breakup, so keeping things calm mattered to me. The team handled the work without making it feel awkward or stressful. They boxed personal items first and kept them together instead of mixing them in. Larger pieces were secured in a way that kept them stable during the drive, which helps a lot.
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
Moving day went well because these guys from Howards Van Line worked so hard. They loaded my gym equipment and heavy tools onto the truck with no problems. A fantastic service, and I am pleased I chose them.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
