Moving company in Garfield, NJ
We were nervous about the logistics of moving our heavy furniture up 5 flights of stairs, but the team from Howard’s Vanline made it look easy. They moved everything with ease, and took extra care to protect the walls and floors. They were very professional and worked hard until the job was complete. We couldn’t be more grateful!
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
The process felt unorganized and lacked proper coordination. Customer support was slow to respond, and the delays created unnecessary stress. I would not use this service again.
During my cross-country move I selected this moving company because their performance exceeded all expectations. The team operated efficiently as a single unit while they performed secure item wrapping and introduced clear box labelling. The crew provided me with an additional service by assembling my bed frame after they arrived which eliminated a lot of work for me. The prices charged by the company were acceptable given their high-quality service delivery. I will happily suggest their services to everyone who needs to relocate whether they move short distances or long ones.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
Terry and his team made moving into our first property with my fiancé easy. After greeting us, the staff helped us arrange furniture and boxes for maximum efficiency. They disassembled and reassembled our bed at the new location, saving us a lot of hassle. Their attention to detail included asking about special items like our antique chest. Overall, excellent service.
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
The move took much longer than promised, which caused unnecessary stress. I had difficulty getting updates, and the overall coordination could have been much better.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
