Moving company in Garfield, NJ
We had a small window between moving out of our rental and moving into our new house. Howards Van Line team provided short-term storage and helped coordinate delivery perfectly. They made what could’ve been a nightmare into a well-timed process!
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
I was moving a lot of old furniture and boxes from my parents' house, and these movers made it simple. They were friendly, fast, and careful with everything. My big dining table and bookshelves were moved with no trouble. Everything got to the new place safely. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for reliable help during a move.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
Several boxes were handled carelessly, and a few belongings arrived damaged. The crew seemed rushed and paid little attention to fragile items. Very frustrating experience.
I had a tricky move with lots of heavy stuff and fragile items, but the movers made it look easy. They packed everything fast and handled my electronics and glassware with extra care. Even with a narrow stairway, they got everything out safely. The team worked hard and stayed professional the whole time. I’d happily hire them again.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
I had to move last minute, and (Howards Van Line) really came through. I had already packed most of my things, but there were still a few large items I wasn’t sure how to handle. The team arrived right on time and helped get everything sorted. They were quick, friendly, and made the whole process stress-free. I’ll definitely be using them again next time!
