Moving company in Garfield, NJ
My move with Howards Van Line was nothing short of fantastic. They were punctual, kept me updated, and handled everything like true professionals. It honestly took away every bit of stress I usually feel when moving.
The move took much longer than promised, which caused unnecessary stress. I had difficulty getting updates, and the overall coordination could have been much better.
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
A special thank you to John, who made my office relocation stress-free. They kept everything running smoothly, coordinated details, and handled fragile electronics carefully. Their professionalism turned what could've been overwhelming into a simple process.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
My kitchen was filled with fragile dishes. David wrapped every plate and glass carefully. When I opened the boxes later and saw that nothing was broken, I felt so thankful for the care they had shown.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
I helped my parents move out of their place after 20 years, and it was a full house of memories and furniture. I was worried the team might get impatient with how long we took deciding what to bring, but they waited without rushing us. They showed a lot of respect and handled the move with care. I left feeling like they truly understood how emotional these moves can be.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
