Moving company in Garfield, NJ
My valuables arrived shattered and damaged. I would never do business with this firm again. I also had insurance, but I haven't gotten anything back from it. Excuses and fob offs. Extremely disappointed. I would have posted without any stars if I could have.
Several boxes were handled carelessly, and a few belongings arrived damaged. The crew seemed rushed and paid little attention to fragile items. Very frustrating experience.
I had to relocate my training mats and stands from IL to NY. The movers came prepared with covers and ties for the equipment. They loaded each mat carefully and didn’t rush the job. Everything arrived in the same condition. It was nice to see a team that actually pays attention to the details.
The movers displayed a great deal of selflessness by staying late to finish the unloading process. Jackson made sure that every piece of furniture was placed exactly where I wanted it before they left for the day. I am very impressed.
The packers' performance and arrival were equally appalling. I found that my items had been tossed to the bottom when using the wardrobe boxes to store my clothes. After completing their formal education, the packers are expected to be competent. Please don't use them because I get annoyed and agitated.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
The move was not smooth. Poorly delivered. Furniture scratched. TV's broken. Delivery was not made on time. The company staff refused to take responsibility and did not even acknowledge emails or respond in a timely manner. Dont bother using this company.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
The process felt unorganized and lacked proper coordination. Customer support was slow to respond, and the delays created unnecessary stress. I would not use this service again.
