Moving company in Garfield, NJ
Our family move included a lot of books, fragile toys, and oddly shaped décor. We hired movers from here on a neighbor’s recommendation and they surpassed our expectations. They grouped everything by room and even helped label the boxes in a way my kids could understand. It made unpacking feel like a breeze!
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
Several boxes were handled carelessly, and a few belongings arrived damaged. The crew seemed rushed and paid little attention to fragile items. Very frustrating experience.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
I had to relocate the same day after receiving a last-minute job offer out of town. They managed everything in record time by fitting me into their schedule. They are true rock stars!
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
The process felt unorganized and lacked proper coordination. Customer support was slow to respond, and the delays created unnecessary stress. I would not use this service again.
Our parents had many precious belongings that required special care when we moved across the country with them. Howards Van Line movers took their time, tagged everything, and handled delicate items with the utmost caution. They are definitely someone we would hire again if we were to move in the future!
