Moving company in Garfield, NJ
I needed a safe place to store my belongings temporarily, and Howards Van Line climate-controlled storage facility option was perfect. They managed the delivery smoothly when I was ready to move into my new house, and everything arrived in the same condition as when it was packed. I highly recommend them!
Several boxes were handled carelessly, and a few belongings arrived damaged. The crew seemed rushed and paid little attention to fragile items. Very frustrating experience.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
One of the movers smelled like cigarette smoke the entire time, and it lingered in my living room for hours after they left. My allergies flared up so bad I had to open all the windows and air out the place.
The overall experience was disappointing. Customer service was not as responsive as expected, and several issues remained unresolved. I hope improvements are made in the future.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
I have dealt with movers ranging from lazy to completely careless throughout my 8 moves that have taken place across three states. It was refreshing to see this new group. All of the furniture was packed properly and handled with care; nothing was lost or damaged.
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
I highly recommend asking for Zachary if you book here. We had a tricky move with a narrow basement staircase. He measured everything first and had a plan. He guided his team perfectly, getting our freezer and washing machine up without a hitch. They were done in under 4 hours.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
