Moving company in Fort Lauderdale, FL
I've made it quite obvious that I have no interest in working with any other moving companies. Everything about GAMS is first-rate. Their professionalism and thoroughness made obtaining a price and planning my transfer a breeze.
I appreciated William Hernandez keeping me updated trough the whole move and being professional and kind And I appreciate the driver Andre for the hard work he did and getting my stuff there safety and being kind to my sister.
I had been trying to find a reputable moving company and I found this one. We discussed pricing and dates for the move. I told the woman how skeptical I was as there are a lot of scams out there. She explained things and was earning my trust. After discussing what to do with my boyfriend she called back and I told her I thought I might just have to go with the cargo van I had reserved. She then proceeds to tell me that those vans are only for local and I wouldn't be able to take one out of state. I got upset and told her I knew that wasn't true as I had already reserved the pickup and drop off for this van. I tried to tell her that lying to convince me I needed to pay a deposit and reserve her service was just going to make people not trust them and that is when she said she was putting me on the do not call list and hung up. Even if I call the 800 number for great American moving I get a message saying you have been put on the do not call list. So even if I talked my boyfriend into using them I couldn't reach them if I wanted to.
They stole my gun, about 10 grand in painted Warhammer figures and my dogs ashes. When I called about it they claimed I had none of those things and looked at the inventory sheet they made saying "boxes X 12, desk, mini fridge" they broke the desk btw. They also put music case instead of gun case that had my rifle in it. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, JUST GET A UHAUL.
Contrary to our request for a 26 foot truck, which the company assured us would hold our belongings and was all our storage facility at our final destination could accommodate, they sent a 52' semi. That made us scramble at our final destination to find another storage facility that could accomodate a semi, causing us to lose the $200.00 we had paid to rent the storage unit. As it turned out, the quantity of belongings we had would not have all fit in a 26' and fortunately we were able to secure an alternative storage facility that would accommodate the semi. The workers assigned to our move, however, were friendly, courteous, jovial and hard-working. Had it not been for the above mentioned aggravation and some irreparable damage, this would have been a 5 star review.
I can't thank them enough for their incredible service. The movers were professional, hardworking, and treated my items with respect. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly remarkable. I highly recommend them for any long distance move.
The movers were prompt and on time for our move. Covered our furniture with blankets and used roll out carpets to make their way around our old apartment and new home. There were the two men that helped us move today. Thank you again!
We recently relocated from LA to OR. This moving service was by far the best we've ever hired. I want to give a shout out to the crew for their hard work. Our belongings were loaded, transported, and moved into our new home within just 2 days. Thanks to everyone.
The movers methodically dismantled and mantled my hybrid bed. They ensured no nut or bolt was lost, brought the necessary equipment, and effortlessly labeled each part. Service was rapid.
Four guys unloaded two pods without taking breaks. They were professional movers and will be hired again.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Great American Moving System holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
