Customer service was helpful before booking, but difficult to reach after the move. I had questions about a damaged item and didn't receive a timely response. That left a poor impression.
Our original moving company canceled less than 24 hours before moving day. I called Distance Movers, and they were able to get a truck and a three-person crew for the following morning. The team was well-prepared and succeeded despite the short notice.
I was in the process of moving after a remodel and still had some furniture covered in dust from the remodeling. Movers took some time to ensure the pieces were properly covered before loading them into the truck. They also didn't hit the newly-built walls.
From the first box to the last piece of furniture, everything was handled carefully. The movers stayed positive, worked quickly, and made the whole process stress-free. I am very satisfied with their service.

There were a few delicate items, such as artwork, mirrors and glass tables. Before loading, the movers added extra protection to all items. From start to end, they did it right. Moving was very smooth and pleasant.
We had a lot of stuff in our house when we were moving into our new house. Fortunately, the movers at this company were quick to be patient, prepared everything with great care and even covered the trucks with protective barriers for extra security. They made the delivery the very next day and even unloaded it in their new place, in their rooms. The service was just wonderful!

I expected the move to be much more organized from beginning to end. The crew needed repeated instructions about where certain boxes belonged. The unloading process also took longer than expected. Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations.
Carrying a little toddler and two hyperactive dogs around is chaos, but the moving team was very patient and accommodating of our crazy family. They left doors open for the dogs to prevent them from running out, and they stayed smiling and friendly around our makeshift play areas, without raising their voices over all the noise. Their patience made a very stressful day so much easier to deal with.
