College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving Claim Business?

This company is horrible

This company is horrible, DO NOT hire them. I had them move about 10 pieces of larger furniture items into my new house in 2023 and they damaged every one of them. Not only did they damage every piece of furniture in some fashion, but they left divits in my new floor, dents in my newly refinished door, and scrapes on my newly painted walls. They tried shoving an L shaped couch out the door at the widest point tearing some of the leather. They complained about the hill and stairs at the new house to the point I told them I would do it myself then. They tried pushing my grill wheels first across large gaps in the concrete rather than pulling it across.

Total bait and switch.

I called to get a quote to have my 88' sofa hauled off. An easy job, I was very specific on the sofa size. Got a quote for $109, which I thought was reasonable. Movers showed up and gave me a minimum fee of $389, plus a disposal fee of $50!! Naturally, I rejected that and he eventually dropped the price to a total of $230. I just went with it because I needed it done and didn't have the time to deal with finding another mover. Total bait and switch.

Great value! Headache free!

Moving thoughts used to daunt me; it's the last thing I'd want to do. I thank my husband and this company for being there for me and not letting me lift a finger throughout the process. The mover boys made my shift smooth and flawless.

Great Movers. Kane and his partner Kevin moved some…

Kane and his partner Kevin moved some items for me. They were Great. Polite, courteous, careful with delicate items, arranged things perfectly, quick, didn’t waste any time, followed instructions, easy to work with, very fair pricing. Can’t say enough good things about them. Would definitely hire them again. Thanks guys, Susan M. Very satisfied customer.

Brilliant, reliable, and friendly

Four movers handle my move very easily and carefully. Even though the relocation was complicated, the company's representative, Mathis took care of all the necessary paperwork. The movers were kind and careful, and the price was fair, so the move went off without a hitch

I would absolutely use them again!

Unprofessional. The price quoted was half the price of what was actually charged. Not only did they show up late, but they took their sweet time with a move that wasn't nearly as difficult as it was made out to be and the movers would disappear for periods of time. It took 6 hours to move two rooms of a one bedroom apartment.

BAD PEOPLE!

The movers didn't follow instructions. Scratched the hardwood floors. Missed tons of things they were supposed to load. One of the screens was also cracked. If the mover didn't cost close to $1000 for a small apartment, I probably wouldn't have given such a low score but this is the quality of work I would expect if I got my random friends to move my apartment.
