I own a small shop and had to move all my retail stock. This meant hundreds of boxes, all the same size but different weights. The team used a conveyor belt system right off the truck. They formed a line and just passed the boxes along. It was the fastest loading I’ve ever seen. Everything was inventoried on their sheet.
My experience with this moving company was not what I expected. The overall process felt disorganized, and communication could have been much better. I was hoping for a smoother and less stressful move. Unfortunately, the service left me disappointed.
There was more to move than I originally thought, which had me worried for a bit. This was a move from FL to PA, and once everything was laid out, it was clear the load was bigger than planned. They just got to work and started loading piece by piece. I wasn’t running behind them or double-checking what was going on.
1. They never completed the move that I had paid for. I wrote emails, left voicemails, and made over twenty phone calls. My calls were never answered by them. After waiting on hold for more than twenty-five minutes, I was promised that someone will call me back, but that never happened. A move date would not be given more than 24 hours beforehand. I had to hire a professional moving firm, and when Alliance eventually responded—too late—they refused to give me a refund despite the fact that they had not rendered a service. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. AVOID USING THIS COMPANY.
This was my first time moving and I didn't know what to expect. I was referred to Brightside Moving Group movers by a trusted friend and their experts guided me through all the packing advice, what to expect on moving day, and the moving plan. On the actual moving day, they were efficient and made sure I was kept informed at every step. They helped me with my first move without a hitch!
My partner and I were combining our two one-bedroom apartments into one house. We had duplicate couches, tables, you name it. The movers helped us decide what to take on the spot. They loaded the chosen items efficiently and even helped us donate the old couch by dropping it off on their way.
After dealing with other companies before, this felt different. Lewis and other team members arrived around 11 in the morning and started with the loading. It was straightforward and did not feel chaotic at any stage.
Really solid service overall. The move happened right after some renovation work at the house, so timing and coordination mattered. The crew came in and got straight to clearing the space without creating extra mess. They handled the steps and driveway without scraping or dragging things around. They made sure that all the things were at our place without any issue.
