Multi generational household. My parents, my wife and me, and our two teenagers, all sharing a large home in Las Cruces, NM that we were splitting into two separate households. Genuinely complex. Needed to divide shared belongings fairly, keep certain sentimental items clearly attributed, and deliver to two different addresses on the same day in Largo, FL. John created a detailed split plan. Every shared item pre labeled with its destination household before moving day. Trucks staged at the two delivery addresses in sequence and the crew never mixed a single item. Both households set up the same evening. My parents in their new place, we in ours, and nobody argued about the coffee table. Cost for the full two destination move $10,200. Made an inherently complicated family situation completely clean.

I really upset with their service.
I am very disappointed with A Plus Moving & Storage, my initial quote was $2000 but later on they charged me near $4000. We don't get proper response and had similar problem what others reviewers mentioned. I really upset with their service.

Aweful!
If you are planning to hire movers, I would like to forewarn you of a moving company we just used that shall now be known as @the moving company from hell or the moving company with no ethics” We used A Plus moving and storage out of Miami. After googling moving companies, we were immediately contacted by one of their very “slick” salesmen, promising us things that ultimately they had no intent of delivering. My primary concern was a move from Fl to Michigan to a very rural area that could not accommodate a semi or a large truck! I was assured by the salesman that the delivery would be made in a small truck that would be able to navigate our wooded area . He even did a “Google earth” search to confirm. The contract showed that there was “no semi” availability “ The evening before the delivery I was called by the driver and my first question was “you don’t have a semi do you?” And of course he said he did have a semi! (Because he was subcontracted by A Plus & had no knowledge of what the arrangements were) He had to find a uhaul facility (40 miles away) that had a truck he could offload our furniture onto (and in the process offloaded MANY belongings of another client to us !!!! ….bring to our home and deliver them. I had to go through and identify all of the boxes and furniture items that were not mine! A Plus then charged me an extra $1000 for this! I called their “General Manager” what a joke he was! He could hardly put two sentences together @ when I asked him about waiving the additional charge because of being lied to about their service he said “who do you think you are? My mother? Why would I waive the fee? At that point I just hung up on him. To make a long story long, do yourself a favor, Run, don’t walk away from this sleazy company! I have reported them to the BBB and also left a scathing review on a movers website. If I can prevent one person from going through the misery of using A (Agony) Plus Moving and Storage out of Miami, this long posting will be worth it.

Well Done!!
My daughter is on the autism spectrum and changes in environment and routine are very hard for her. Moving from Suitland, MD to Reidsville, NC required real thought about how to make this transition as predictable and calm as possible. Jerry listened carefully when I explained her situation. He suggested we photograph her room in detail before packing so we could recreate it exactly at the new house. His crew packed her room last and unloaded it first, recreating the layout as closely as possible based on the photos. We also kept her most important comfort items — a few stuffed animals and her weighted blanket — in our car rather than the truck so she had them throughout the day. Jerry thought of this before I did. Total cost was $8,200. Jerry's care for every member of the family, not just the adults, is remarkable.

Large organic garden and a greenhouse full of plants, about two hundred of them, that we were absolutely not leaving behind in Portland, OR. Chris had moved plants before. Arranged for the greenhouse items to be the very last thing loaded and the very first thing off the truck, minimizing time in transit. Chose a truck placement that maximized airflow and kept them in a temperature stable section. Coordinated a direct route to minimize travel time for the living cargo. Every single plant arrived healthy in Atlanta, GA. Garden started producing in the new location within weeks. Cost $8,400. For families who treat their gardens as seriously as their furniture, he finds a way.

Best Move Ever, Not Kidding.
From the first call to the last handshake, A Plus Moving & Storage provided exceptional customer service. My move coordinator was incredibly patient and answered all my questions thoroughly. The movers themselves were courteous and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They even helped disassemble and reassemble some furniture, which was a huge weight off my shoulders.

Broken agreements
If I could put 0 stars I would. Stay far away from this company. Quote went up over $4,9XX to over $8,2XX, items broke, NOTHING as promised. Only sent 2 people (promised 4). And 2 of the laziest people. They did not do one thing for the first 2 hours. The main guy, Angel, spent the time on his phone talking to a phone company and his wife/girlfriend. What was supposed to be a one day pack/load (we packed 65% of the items even though we ordered a full pack) took 2 days. The second day, again they did nothing for the first 2 hours. Also, they could not even ship all the items as promised. I was forced to sell an item due to their lies. Then, Philip had the audacity to blame me stating my expectations were unreasonable. No, my expectations were exactly what I was promised from COREY at the time I gave a deposit. SHAME on Corey and Philip. This whole thing felt like a bate and switch scam. Also, not one time during the reservation process did anyone mention final payment had to be Cash or a Post Office, yes Post Office, money order. They had us over the flame knowing we had to be out of the home. A complaint has been filed with the BBB. It was that bad. In my opinion, their actions should borderline criminal. I'm sure their response to this will be aggressive and false. Of which, I will not reply. I strongly advise to find another company. Honesty and integrity are huge, of which, they have none.

AWFUL
If I could give zero stars, I would. Started off getting a quote from John, who rushed me on the phone throughout the process of making the booking. He was incredibly rude and condescending when I asked a follow up question about whether or not I have to provide and pack my own boxes. I asked about if exceptions could be made for payment as they only allow credit card payments for the deposit. I was informed that money order or Zelle/cashapp were the only accepted forms of payment. Sketchy.. Their documentation also does not line up. They took 35% deposit, while their Bill of Lading says they take 25% of the total for the deposit. On Sept 18th, I signed the Bill of Lading, which states that I have three days to cancel. On September 19th, a Friday, I called David Sharp, to again discuss payment options. He informed me that I could cancel within 10 days of my move and receive my deposit in full refund. I found another company who allowed all payments to be on credit card, so I called over the weekend to cancel my services, however their customer service does not work over the weekend. I figured then that, reasonably, those three days would then be business days, as no one was available to take my call. However, when I called on Monday (which is 3 full days after I signed the contract), they informed me that I was past my three day window and refused to return my refund. They also flipped the script and informed me that now I could use a credit card for all of the payments. As if I would possibly trust them with my business again. What a joke. Everyone I spoke to, John, David and Rita were all incredibly condescending and unprofessional, speaking over me and very obviously not caring about their customers. Save your time and money, I am soooo glad that I did not go through with booking as I cannot imagine how they handle someone's property if they can't even professionally manage a conversation.

Excellent Service
My wife is an interior designer and our home reflects that — every room is carefully considered, furniture is often custom or antique, and nothing is IKEA. Moving from Sacramento, CA to Little Rock, AR required a level of care and aesthetic awareness that most moving companies are simply not prepared for. Philip came for a consultation before the move and walked through the house with the kind of attention you'd expect from a professional curator. He asked about the provenance of specific pieces, noted fragile finishes, and had custom wrap ordered for three pieces with unusual surfaces. On moving day his crew was impeccably careful — slow and methodical with the high-value items, efficient with the standard ones. My wife, who is not easy to impress, told me afterward that she felt truly respected as a client. Total cost was $13,800. A Plus Moving and Storage is the standard for high-care residential moving.

This service team wasn't just packing artists, they were Tetris masters! They maximized every inch of space in the truck, saving me money and ensuring everything arrived safely.
