Perfect Movers
Surprise promotion, five weeks notice, three kids, two cats, fourteen years of accumulated life in the house in Fort Worth, TX. I called in a mild panic. Jaime answered with complete calm. Talked me through exactly what the five week timeline would look like, what I needed to do and when, what his team would handle. That roadmap gave me control back. On the day everything went as described. He even helped us find temporary cat boarding for move day itself. Arrival in Shreveport, LA was smooth. Cost $7,900. Five weeks of panic turned into a smooth transition.

Thank You!!
Large organic garden and a greenhouse full of plants, about two hundred of them, that we were absolutely not leaving behind in Portland, OR. Chris had moved plants before. Arranged for the greenhouse items to be the very last thing loaded and the very first thing off the truck, minimizing time in transit. Chose a truck placement that maximized airflow and kept them in a temperature stable section. Coordinated a direct route to minimize travel time for the living cargo. Every single plant arrived healthy in Atlanta, GA. Garden started producing in the new location within weeks. Cost $8,400. For families who treat their gardens as seriously as their furniture, he finds a way.

Thumbs Ups
Multi generational household. My parents, my wife and me, and our two teenagers, all sharing a large home in Las Cruces, NM that we were splitting into two separate households. Genuinely complex. Needed to divide shared belongings fairly, keep certain sentimental items clearly attributed, and deliver to two different addresses on the same day in Largo, FL. John created a detailed split plan. Every shared item pre labeled with its destination household before moving day. Trucks staged at the two delivery addresses in sequence and the crew never mixed a single item. Both households set up the same evening. My parents in their new place, we in ours, and nobody argued about the coffee table. Cost for the full two destination move $10,200. Made an inherently complicated family situation completely clean.

Good Service
We were moving from Brookeville, MD to Hedgesville, WV and needed to combine that move with a stop to pick up furniture from my wife's parents' home en route — they were giving us pieces they no longer needed. Philip built the route stop into our plan, adjusted the truck capacity to accommodate the additional items, and handled the elderly couple at the pickup with remarkable warmth and patience. My in-laws were so touched by how Philip and his crew treated their belongings that they asked for his card for when they eventually need to downsize. That kind of impression — on people who weren't even paying customers — tells you everything about the character of this company. Total cost was $10,200 for the combined move. A Plus Moving and Storage goes the extra mile because that's who they are.

Fantastic Mover
We have a large aquarium hobby — six tanks total, including a 200-gallon reef tank that has been five years in the making. Moving from Buffalo, NY to Sewickley, PA required extraordinary planning around the fish and corals. Chris spent two hours on the phone with me before the move understanding exactly what was involved. He arranged for the fish to be transferred professionally the day before the move, coordinated the tank breakdown with our reef specialist, and had the tanks transported in a humidity-controlled section of the truck. The corals survived the move and the tanks were set up and cycling within 48 hours of delivery. Every single fish made it. Total cost was $11,400. Chris has seen it all and handles it all. There is nothing this company won't figure out how to do right.

Top Notch Movers
We own a significant collection of vintage and exotic musical instruments — a 1930s upright bass, several pre-war guitars, two vintage keyboard instruments, and a collection of world percussion instruments from various countries. These are not just instruments — they are cultural artifacts with irreplaceable value. Moving from Corpus Christi, TX to Elkin, NC required a company willing to treat them that way. Jaime consulted with a vintage instrument specialist before the move and built specific handling protocols for each piece. The pre-war guitars were humidity-monitored during transport. The vintage bass was cradled in custom foam. The world percussion instruments were individually wrapped and cataloged. Every single piece arrived in Elkin, NC in perfect condition. Total cost was $12,400. Jaime's dedication to protecting what is irreplaceable is extraordinary.

Top Notch Movers
Six moves in fifteen years and I have seen every kind of company. This time we were headed to Sparta, TN with a full five bedroom house, a baby grand, and a four hundred pound safe. Within ten minutes of meeting Chris on moving day my expectations went way up. He ran a crew of five with clear roles, separate inventory for fragile items, and careful padding on every piece. Both the piano and the safe moved without a blink. Final number $14,900. Best experience of them all.

Top Moving Company
We moved from Oxnard, CA to Universal City, TX at the same time we were welcoming a new puppy into our family — an 8-week-old Golden Retriever who had just come home. The chaos of moving day with an untrained puppy should have been a disaster. Jaime arrived fully prepared. He designated one of his crew members as the unofficial puppy wrangler for the day — keeping the dog entertained, safe, and away from open doors and moving equipment. The puppy was never underfoot and never stressed. By the time the trucks were unloaded, the dog had four new best friends in Jaime's crew and was exhausted from playing. Moving day was not only smooth but genuinely fun. Total cost was $10,100. Jaime takes the whole family picture into account — fur babies included.

The Worst Moving Experiance Ever
I personally had the worst experience in my life time with A Plus Moving & Storage from the moment they showed up at my door. The driver had a terrible attitude when he walked in the door and even the loading crew brought it up how the driver treated them. The loading crew was very good packing our contents but they told me that they are independent, The unloading crew was the worst I've ever experienced. My furniture arrived with several being damaged. I sent photos of the damaged furniture, including the mirrior on our curio cabinet which I told the Company that I got an estimate for the mirrior and it was $500.00 and they offered me $150.00. I said to the lady I was speaking to that doesn't even cover the mirror and what about all the other damaged furniture and she said she would talk to whoever she has to get approval from and she came back with an offer to settle for $350.00. I told her that didn't even cover the damaged mirror in the curio cabinet and her reply was they delivered my furniture in two days and I asked what that has to do with the furniture damages and she said it was a quick delivery and less items get damaged....There were several pieces of furniture that were damaged including dressers, tables, headboards, The people that I originally spoke with wouldn't return any of my calls the day of the move but I did hear from a guy that was rude on the phone to myself and my wife. My wife tried to explain to him about our issues we were having with the move and he told my wife that the driver said that we were rude...I guess he believed the driver over what we were explaining. In my opinion from the experience my wife and I had, I wouldn't use this company for anything, I won't recommend them to any Friends or Family because I wouldn't want them to experience what I did. If I could...I would have given A Plus Moving & Storage a "ZERO"!!!

Well Done!!
We were a multi-generational household — my parents, my wife and me, and our two teenagers — all sharing a large home in Kyle, TX that we were splitting into two separate households in Tracy, CA. This was genuinely complex: we needed to divide shared belongings fairly, keep certain sentimental items clearly attributed, and deliver to two different addresses on the same day. Philip created a detailed split plan. Every shared item was pre-labeled with its destination household before moving day. His trucks staged at the two delivery addresses in sequence and his crew never mixed a single item. Both households were set up the same evening. My parents were in their new place, we were in ours, and nobody argued about the coffee table. Total cost was $8,900 for the full two-destination move. Philip made an inherently complicated family situation completely clean.
