What a warning on your profile means
Warnings
A warning means we found clear evidence that the company broke our rules, such as posting fake reviews or pressuring customers. It says what we found in plain words, with a “Learn why” link. For example:
Warning: We removed reviews from this company’s profile because we found evidence they didn’t come from real customers.
A warning stays on the profile for at least 90 days, and until the company has fixed the problem. No payment can remove a warning.
Notices
A notice doesn’t mean the company did anything wrong. It helps you decide. For example:
- Registration notice: FMCSA records show the company’s registration isn’t active right now.
- Review check: we noticed unusual review activity and we’re checking it.
We remove a notice once the issue is resolved.
Moving companies can appeal a warning.
