Read More This is the company to call if you need to move a lot of things. They worked hard to make sure my move last month went smoothly. They did a great job and charged a fair price. I really don't believe it! There was no harm or loss. They were very helpful.

First off Safeway Moving is a moving broker not an actual moving company. Our belongings were transported by different companies from Missouri to Arizona our new home. We ... Read More First off Safeway Moving is a moving broker not an actual moving company. Our belongings were transported by different companies from Missouri to Arizona our new home. We had a 55 inch flat screen television that was smashed. Big gouges in one TV stand, Dining chair, Trunk, and Grill. When we went to file a claim we were told that we needed the original receipts for the items. I am not sure who keeps those kinds of receipts laying around. Anyway on top of that the price changed from the estimate to be quite a bit higher. If you add anything the cost goes up dramatically. Also be sure and check carefully that the number of each furniture item what they say that they are moving is correct. We made that mistake creating an overcharge to us that was not refunded. Just be very aware that the price estimated will not be your actual final price. While the move was not horrible it could have been a lot better. Bottom line, would I use them again? No. Would I recommend them? No.

Read More I am so grateful to Shawn and Smith for their amazing service. They arrived on time and worked very quickly and efficiently to move all my belongings. They were very careful with my couch and dresser, which are both very valuable to me. They did not leave any marks or scratches on them. They were very courteous and professional throughout the whole process.

Nick and his crew were very helpful and tried to help us. Unfortunately the crew in Atlanta did not package the pieces together (the bed screws with the bed), the Peloton ... Unfortunately the crew in Atlanta did not package the pieces together (the bed screws with the bed), the Peloton screen and screws with the bike. A week out, we are unsettled and some things are still not put together because pieces are missing. I have two broken lamps, and some of my furniture has arrived in poor shape. While I would have like to purchase additional insurance, Safeway did not make it easy for me to understand if it was worth it. It felt like, if the breaks - it breaks and it would be challenging to be reimbursed for items. I would not recommend.

First of all, they give you an estimate over the phone based on a virtual walkthrough of your home. When they arrived the crew said they didn’t know it was a full pack and load. (I paid for the “White Glove” pack and load). The worst part is the horrible communication. They picked up my stuff on May 14th. I gave them a first available delivery date of June 28th. After multiple calls with no response or responses of “I will call dispatch and get back with you” and they never call back. I got my stuff on July 30th. They want their money before they take anything off the truck. Then, the first dozen items they bring into my home looked weird. I partially unwrapped a chair that wasn’t mine. None of the stuff was mine. Yet they all had stickers with my name on them. They made a pile in my driveway and front yard of stuff with my name that wasn’t mine. Then, finally they found my stuff in the truck. I wonder what happened to the stuff that wasn’t mine. Bottom line is they were HORRIBLE and the $7000 move ended up costing $12000. They have you over a barrel and you basically have no choice but to pay. They advertise a “Stress Free” Move…..WOW. Do Yourself a favor and Order a POD.

They were very careful when packing big, expensive things. You should hire Safeway Moving Inc if you need to move.
