Read More We were very happy with our moving experience from start to finish. There were no hidden costs, and the charges were clear. They gave me a thorough estimate, and the final cost was completely fair. It was good not to experience any financial surprises at a time when things were already difficult.

This is the worst experience we have ever had. Our load was brokered out. This move was 70 miles. The movers were not professional. We had items get broke and we were ch ... Read More This is the worst experience we have ever had. Our load was brokered out. This move was 70 miles. The movers were not professional. We had items get broke and we were charged more than we were quoted. I tried several times to resolve the issues by email and phone calls. Got nothing but silence. Do not use this company!!!! I have not heard from anyone since July 24th and I have sent numerous emails. And yes I have everyone saved. When I call I get the standard answer it's been turned over to the claims department. We were charged more than what was agreed upon. We had to pay an additional $400 to the two movers that showed up and they didn't even take all of the furniture. So don't tell me I'm not accurate. This is the worst customer service ever.

They took care to ensure that everything arrived intact. I love it!

Great American did a great job but the thing is I've received a couple of items damaged and I filed a claim and I'm waiting on that and it's taken forever. As far as the ... Read More Great American did a great job but the thing is I've received a couple of items damaged and I filed a claim and I'm waiting on that and it's taken forever. As far as the process of getting a quote and getting a schedule, the experience was good. They picked up the phone, they took my information, and they were there. The only thing that bothered me is we agreed on a price, and they came and packed everything, and they told me that I have to pay extra because the truck filled out. When they were coming the first time, I was assuming that it was supposed to be the full deal and I don't have to pay anything extra. That was what I told them on the phone. I told them I don't wanna pay anything extra. When my stuff was more, I had to pay the difference.

Read More It would be 5 stars, but there wassmall deliverytime issue, which is simply a misunderstanding I had, but my items were picked up on time and delivery was just couple days after the date I requested, which is okay, all items arrived perfect, staff of moving was nice. I’m writing this because there is so many reviews so I will share my experience with my booking agent. She gave me a good price for my move from IL to TX. My goods picked up the second to last weekend of April and delivered a couple days after May 1st. The moving company they contracted was well. My items arrived in good condition and the company in itself always answered my questions, my agent is very good and fast with email responses. As well as the various departments. I appreciate this experience and recommend another friend of mine to do his move with my agent.
