The agent who did the estimate was very efficient and was there to answer all my questions, and gave me estimate before he left the apartment.

Read More The move went great from start to finish. Even when I had to add a few things last minute, they were there to help and were able to walk me through what to expect on the day of the move. When the movers picked up and delivered my items, they were so helpful and transparent. This has by far been the smoothest move I have ever experienced. Thank you so much Allied. You guys were awesome and I will be referring your company in the future.

Movers professional and careful. Still haven’t unpacked everything. I have someone else’s ironing board and reported it. I am mostly disappointed in the process for replacing a broken piece of glass in a cabinet. Accidents happen but the repair process should not be so burdensome on the customer. We could have taken the cabinet door it to a glass shop and had it fixed within a week. I find your form annoying and having to take and send photos and waiting for some adjuster to show up and verify what the driver had already documented before he left is annoying. We’re left with a cabinet in our great room that has all the charm of a missing tooth. Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback.

I paid almost $ 11,000. for my move. It was delayed for 8 days. No explanation as to why it was delayed. I had booked my move 8 weeks in advance; this was more than enoug ... Read More I paid almost $ 11,000. for my move. It was delayed for 8 days. No explanation as to why it was delayed. I had booked my move 8 weeks in advance; this was more than enough time to schedule a crew for my delivery. I filed a delayed shipment claim ( for daily items I needed, food etc ) $ 260.46 and it was denied. My wife and I had to sleep on the floor which was uncomfortable for me as I am 67 years old and have severe back problems. This was a ( 5) crated shipment. I had missing / damaged items that Allied “ cannot account for “ and “ their tracing results were unsuccessful in confirming a loss “. Allied cannot say that; I had my name, address & phone number on all boxes in addition to their barcode. So, the scanning system Allied uses is unreliable and ineffective. (Or air lying and just don’t care. ( Fedex and UPS have no issues for tracking of shipments ) My high value item packed by Allied a 55” Samsung TV was missing, wardrobe box was missing, etc. To add further insult, at delivery the driver, Mr Ru *** was rude, refused to listen to me, did NOT allow inspection for items packed by Allied or unwrap them. He unloaded our shipment onto a truck by himself the day before delivery. That is a security breach to make sure my belongings are not MISSING ( which happened ) He was non compliant with shipping procedures. My claim for items missing /damaged totaled $ 2346.00 and Allied is only giving me $ 600. after my deductible. That is pathetic. I have moved interstate at least 6 times and NEVER once had a driver refuse to listen to me. BEWARE - Allied is an unprofessional company that takes your money, will lose your belongings, break your items, delay shipment and not pay you for your claims. They are an unreliable company not to be trusted. I am disappointed, dissatisfied with their services and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Cubic footage was much higher than quoted, resulting in extremely 'tight' packing and need to pack some items in driver's cab. Packers (4), including driver at origin were professional and handled all goods with extreme care. Drop off/unloading was done with driver and assistant and they were responsive to needs for room placement of goods and were 2 of the original packers. They were rushed at end/delivery and it appeared like they needed assistance unloading but no complaints from them. They departed, forgetting to leave my furniture dolly and did not review condition of goods, with one item broken (solid Oak coffee table) and another missing (Furniture dolly). Both driver and assistant at end of move were very courteous and appeared to be exhausted. I would highly recommend them because of their positive attitudes and desire to satisfy our demands. Overall, very satisfied with movers and Carey Moving (second time using them). Customer service was great!

Well the TV didn't work when we unpacked it - naturally it wasn't covered because they said "internal items are fragile and therefore out of our control". Basically - tough shit. The TV that we packed made it fine and worked...
