Read More I have been waiting on my household items for almost 4 weeks and they told me it would be 7-10 days! This is absolutely unacceptable! I still don’t know if I will receive my items next week, it’s starting to get cold where I am and I don’t have any winter clothes and don’t have the money to go buy new clothes that I already have but have yet to receive them! I will never recommend this company for anyone to use.

I'm unsure if this company is poorly run or if the employees are criminals. They were supposed to relocate me from TX to NY but they responded to me at the last minute and abandoned me. I won't ever suggest these unprofessional to anyone.

Menards ********************************************* is GREAT!! If you got less than 595 sq. ft of stuff, need to move across the country in less than two weeks, and $12 ... Read More Menards ********************************************* is GREAT!! If you got less than 595 sq. ft of stuff, need to move across the country in less than two weeks, and $1200 to burn, they DEFINITELY won't cancel on you at the last minute and force you to pay anyway. They DEFINITELY won't try to squeeze you for an extra $500 (on top of the original $1200, of course) for an extra 500 sq. ft. of space that you know you don't need. Nor will they curse at you on the phone when you try to negotiate the price and storage space down for if they do (BUT THEY DEFINITELY WOULDN'T DO SO TO BEGIN WITH). And if you ever left a bad review of them after a negative experience (WHICH YOU DEFINITELY WON'T HAVE), the owner will DEFINITELY not respond to your review calling it fake or that you were wrong for having done business with them (that would just be foolish).

Read More They sold my job so someone else. They lost several of my belongings and what wasn’t lost was broken. This is everything I own. I call their insurance company and it is not real. It doesn’t lead anywhere, it doesn’t have a real name and no one will pick up. They will just take your money and then force you to deal with someone who wants to be paid in cash. Absolutely do not hire them. I am going to have no choice but sue them. It would have been cheaper to throw away everything I own and buy it again new.

Read More I was extremely disappointed with Menards Moving & Storage. They were nothing like what they showed at the time of hiring. The company and workers were all nice and kind until I paid them, when the moving day arrived they were late, 2 hours even though I told them that I needed to get in there on time. The movers were careless with most of my items, and they damaged several of them during the move because of pathetic packing stuff and not paying proper attention. The worst damage was to my marble coffee table, which had a large crack down the middle when it arrived at my new home. Also, James and David scratched the finish on my wooden sideboard and cracked my pottery. I was extremely frustrated with the lack of attention to my valuables and the crew's ignorant behavior.

Read More My experience with Menards Moving & Storage was horrible. The movers were negligent and rude, and they ended up ruining numerous of my stuff. The most extensive damage was to my old oak dresser, which had been in my family for generations. Andrew and his lads managed to damage the top of the dresser and dent one of the drawers. They also damaged a couple pieces of my china, including a teacup from a set I acquired from my grandmother. I wanted a higher degree of attention shown to my possessions. Several more objects were harmed during the relocation. They also charged me more than the estimate with no explanation.

Read More Here's my honest opinion on these swindlers: don't squander your money on Menards Moving & Storage! Those movers Smith and Adam were so inept and unethical that they ruined my flat screen TV with their negligent and uncourteous attitude, leaving a huge fat crack in the screen. They also scratched my hardwood dining table and dinged my stainless steel fridge. I was furious at how they treated my possessions. I really stopped them in the midst because I couldn't stand watching them mercilessly destroy my belongings in front of my eyes. I would never want someone to be so wounded by someone, and those movers, Smith and Adam, made my relocation a real cluster f*** from start to finish.

Read More Spend the extra dollar to get a quality mover, communication was horrible once they picked up my things from the origin, waited 4 weeks for my things to arrive, my nightstand was broken, boxes were smashed and opened, and they had no way of certifying they brought all of my items. This company is a masked 3PL. Cheap option, but I am not using them again.

Read More Richard White booked a fraction of the room that I needed on the truck. I was told I would have the entire 30' trailer. When the Quality Assurance Manager called me two days before the move, he told me I only had 500 cubic feet reserved for the price that I paid and I would have to reserve more space. They STOLE my $749.46 deposit after harassing me via phone and text. As soon as I said that the move was cancelled due to their fraudulent practices, they immediately wrote back "Cancelled, no refund." They are HORRIBLE people and SCAMMERS. I will not rest until I get my deposit back. They insisted I pay the deposit via ZELLE prior to hanging up the phone or I would not get the price they quoted. DO NOT USE THESE THIEVES. Just glad they don't have my belongings in their possession to extort money from me.
