They packed and transported all of our equipment, computers, and office furniture with such care that we had zero issues when setting up in the new location. They even helped arrange the desks and chairs in the new space, which saved us so much time. It was a seamless experience!

We had no choice but to schedule our move for the weekend (since we reached out on short notice), which we thought might cause some issues, but everything went off without any problems. The movers showed up on time, worked efficiently, and had us settled into our new place within 2 days. We were really impressed with how smoothly everything went, especially since weekends are usually such a busy time. Bravo to them!

Read More We had a long-distance move and we were anxious about how it would go. Luckily, the team gave us regular updates throughout transit, which put our minds at ease. They even let us know when they were about an hour away so we could be prepared. The communication was excellent, and once they arrived, everything was unloaded and placed exactly where we wanted it. Couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience!

They took extra time to carefully wrap each piece in protective materials and ensured everything was packed securely. When we unpacked at our new home, not a single item was damaged. Read More We hired the movers from Menards Moving on a friend’s recommendation and it turned out to be an incredible experience. The movers showed up promptly and quickly got to work. They wrapped packing in one day and delivered everything safely within the next 2 days. The final bill was as quoted too. They have our highest recommendation!

Read More We faced an unexpected delay with the closing on our new home and needed to find storage for our belongings on short notice. Thankfully, the movers from this company quickly arranged a storage solution for us and assured us that our items would be safe until we could move in. Once everything was delivered to the storage unit, we were relieved. Many thanks to them!

The moving quote was increased 2 times and my deposit paid to Menards was not applied to the final costs that came from another company who actually did the move. This c ... Read More The moving quote was increased 2 times and my deposit paid to Menards was not applied to the final costs that came from another company who actually did the move. This company is a broker even though they lied to me and said they have their own trucks. They referred my move to another company and they did not forward the $1800 that I paid towards the move to that other company, and the other company charged me AGAIN for the same thing. The other company also loaded everything onto their truck and then held my belongings hostage until I agreed to pay their demands which were a full $3000 more than Menards had quoted me. I believe Menards and the other company committed fraud and extortion and I'm reporting them Federally for an investigation. Also, many of my belongings were damaged in the move and now the damaged items need to be replaced because I don't like having broken and damaged items.

After my storage facility closed, the Menards Moving & Storage went out of its way to store my belongings for a fair charge overnight.

I had no worries because they were first-rate movers and very reliable.

Menards is a broker using several other moving companies so you don't know who you are getting until the day of the move. I was provided a binding moving estimate of $14 ... Read More Menards is a broker using several other moving companies so you don't know who you are getting until the day of the move. I was provided a binding moving estimate of $14,719 for an interstate move from California to Arizona. On the day of the move, the actual movers, United Prime Van Lines, wanted to charge me an extra $10,000. Joseph, Menards' owner, supposedly negotiated them down to an extra $5,000, which I paid. However, I wonder if it was just a scam to get another $5,000. Of the 4 people who came to move us, only 2 spoke English. The main guy was very rude. They ended up taking all of my medications which were not in a cardboard box, just a wicker basket. This was critical because my stuff was in storage for a month. On moving day, they moved all the boxes to the street, blocking my neighbor's driveway for the entire day. They were supposed to bring 2 moving vans to the site. Instead they brought one, went to their storage facility, unloaded the truck and came back to reload. This cost us a lot of time. They didn't finish until almost 10 pm. Plus they did not take everything they were supposed to. We ended up renting U-hauls and drove the rest of the stuff there ourselves. When it came time for the delivery from United's storage, the delivery was on 2 different days about a week apart and not exactly to my convenience but I rearranged my schedule because I was tired of dealing with all the problems and I just wanted my furniture. The men that came for the subsequent deliveries were much nicer and spoke English. There were several large furniture items that ended up cracked, dented or badly scratched. I would not recommend using these companies unless you enjoy aggravation.
