From packing each document and equipment thoroughly to keeping us informed regarding the move’s progress, the service was awesome. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Read More The actual movers (Gerrick and Kenny) who picked up and delivered my things were good; professional, quick, and took care to not damage anything. I was, however, frustrated with the moving consultants and quality control reps. The only times I got any useful information for pick up and delivery times and dates were when I initiated those discussions myself and had to follow up. I know moving long distance is harder to plan out logistically, but I also know my boxes sat in Nashville for a full week before heading to DC even when a huge storm (Helene) was on the way. The delays and lack of communication caused a lot of chaos reserving the elevator and loading dock at my apartment unnecessarily.

They were very attentive and diligent, and they made sure everything was packed and loaded properly. They were very helpful and friendly, and they made moving easy.

They wrapped up my couch, my TV, and even my guitar in protective blankets. These movers were reliable and professional. I would use them again.

Read More I would not recommend Safeway if you are moving long distance and you need your belongings in a timely fashion. The sales people will mislead you to believe that your belongings will arrive promptly and then your items will sit in a warehouse for weeks until they decide it’s convenient to begin transporting to the destination. This is unacceptable. They tell you “it can take up to 30 days” and I should have never agreed to that. They will mislead you by saying “most shipments take 5-14 days” and it’s complete BS. I will never use Safeway again.

Read More When I rang up Safeway Moving Inc, I instantly felt at ease. The person on the other end patiently listened as I jabbered about my stuff, from my huge old mirror to my delicate teacups. On moving day, the gang showed up right on the dot, all dressed up and ready to roll, with everything they needed. They were super careful, wrapping each thingy up snug as a bug so nothing got hurt. Even my skinny staircase didn't throw them off.
