Read More My family and I have used North American in the past and had a great experience. However, my mother in law and I both used them again in the past couple of weeks and had the most horrible experiences. They’ve broken half our furniture, the driver does not keep you updated throughout the move (you actually never speak to them until they arrive at your new home), they removed our furniture from the loading truck into a warehouse and then reloaded it, and, finally, I am 2 days past my delivery date with half my stuff sitting in a warehouse 1500 miles away and they cannot find a driver or tell me when my everyday items I need will arrive. They will also provide no reimbursement. Absolutely awful experience. Never again!

I called our rep and she never returned my call. The moving men were terrific. The office staff not so good.

Read More DO NOT use this company to move if you value your possessions! They are extremely unprofessional & will treat your belongings like junk, I’m not kidding! For example, they put a used toilet scrubber & toddler potty in one of my wardrobe boxes, how gross! They didn’t even wrap our mattresses to protect them from grime & scrapes! Not to mention the huge list of broken/damaged items that I can’t replace and now have to sit & take the time to claim compensation for. They will cut corners in every way they can. Absolutely horrendous experience with our cross country move!

Read More Great Experience overall, Ian Roberts was a friendly, accommodating and a helpful advocate. Your driver was on time and efficient. The only issue we had was with your pack. The Packers packed boxes way to heavy, causing many of them to tear in transit and were very heavy to move around the new house. Labeling of box location could have been much better and packing done in more boxes to make them lighter to deal with. I would not recommend using these packers again.

Read More I would give 0 stars for North American Van Lines but I had to give 1 star in order to give my review. My husband called and made an appointment to have someone come to our house to give a quote for moving. We didn't want a video. We wanted a person to physically come to the house. Our in-house appointment was for 9 a.m. By 9:30 a.m. no one showed up nor did we receive any call about a delay. So my husband called North American to find out what happened. She said she saw our appointment and would contact the appropriate person to find out what happened. We NEVER heard back from her or the person who was supposed to give us an in-person quote. Because of this situation, I wouldn't trust North American to show up on moving day. Needless to say, we will NEVER contact this company again.
