I called to get a quote to have my 88' sofa hauled off. An easy job, I was very specific on the sofa size. Got a quote for $109, which I thought was reasonable. Movers sh ... Read More I called to get a quote to have my 88' sofa hauled off. An easy job, I was very specific on the sofa size. Got a quote for $109, which I thought was reasonable. Movers showed up and gave me a minimum fee of $389, plus a disposal fee of $50!! Naturally, I rejected that and he eventually dropped the price to a total of $230. I just went with it because I needed it done and didn't have the time to deal with finding another mover. Total bait and switch.

Read More Unprofessional. The price quoted was half the price of what was actually charged. Not only did they show up late, but they took their sweet time with a move that wasn't nearly as difficult as it was made out to be and the movers would disappear for periods of time. It took 6 hours to move two rooms of a one bedroom apartment.
