Read More RUN FAR FROM THIS COMPANY. From the moment they arrived things didn’t add up. The workers are completely messy, they don’t pack they throw everything into boxes. Plenty of things ended up broken like a 85” TV that was practically just out of the box. All forms of communication was messy. We filed a claim for the broken things. The settlement was a complete joke. Don’t call these people, find a company that cares and will take care of your things. This was a HUGE MISTAKE, it’s honestly disgusting how much you spend for what should be an exceptional service. Not Worth it, did I mention RUN the other way!?

We have broken items and have done a claim. No one from their office answers or returns calls and no communication regarding the broken items.... So disappointed .

Read More Please do not make the same mistake I did by choosing to move with this company, you will regret it! All of the great reviews are written by their employees, I as many others have had an extremely disappointing experience with A&M Moving. The two movers arrived a day late at 6 pm and worked until 2 am. Despite carrying off a significant portion of my belongings while waiting, they relentlessly tried to upsell, doubling the price by switching from hourly to square footage. Communication was nonexistent as issues arose, and they damaged numerous items, including a Havertys marble-topped table and my shoe rack. Fragile items were mishandled, and despite their assurance of an insurance policy, they refuse to share it. They promised reimbursement via Venmo in 2-3 days; however, nearly two weeks later, I'm still waiting. Avoid this company at all costs.

Read More DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL. I used them to move my belongings from Louisville to Bronx, between my move they held my items in “storage”. They hounded me for my storage payment, when I changed my drop off they added a $300 changing fee. Delivery day the movers they sent refused to bring my couch in to my apartment that left me couch-less and when they were done unloading I asked where was my mirror and TV the driver stated it was unloaded, so I asked him to comeback in my studio apartment and point it out. He then changed his story to it wasn’t on the list I then pointed it out on the list, which pissed him off more then I called Amid and I was promised return of my items once located in 20 days or insurance will cover the refund. Now almost three months later I finally get the claims from the insurance company and for a 1 year old ZGallerie mirror and a 50 inch TV I was offer $52.50 from Yoni with Anthem Claims. I’m telling you on EVERYTHING I LOVE…DO NOT USE THEM.

Read More My experience is similar to the previous review. After giving us a very reasonable quote, they keep calling us until we decided to go with them. I really wished we had spent more time on due diligence. On the day of the move, the movers showed up and took considerable time on paperwork which is much higher than they originally quoted. During the move, they broke some furniture. After several calls and filling out claim forms, they rejected our claim which is a total waste of time. We are exhausted with the process and decided to not pursue further. Overall, in my estimation, we spent at least $3K more due to their shady business practice. The lesson I learned are: (1) Start planning at least 2 month prior to the move date (2) Do thorough research on moving companies and their processes (3) Understand the claim process and what you will need for that process.
