Read More I had a very favorable experience working with Alex Popke at SafeShip. He far exceeded my expectations of a broker customer rep. He was patient with my long list of questions, he helped educate me about things like cubic weight and he explained how the entire process would work once a carrier picked up my load. There should be more reps like Alex out there. The shopping of services like this would be a lot better.

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. They quoted me 4000 initially after I described them my belongings. They did not do a video survey. They blew me off saying that ... Read More I wish I could give this company 0 stars. They quoted me 4000 initially after I described them my belongings. They did not do a video survey. They blew me off saying that can be boxable etc. They gave me a really low box count to get me to sign with them. I am not experienced in moving so I believed them. When I got the quality assurance call, even though my itinerary hadnt changed my estimate more than doubled just 3 days before my move. The quality assurance person told me they gave me too low a box count. When the movers showed up, the actual cost was 1000 more. The first estimate was not accurate and if I had gotten an accurate estimate I would not have gone with this company. I felt like they deceived me with a small quote and lowballed me to get me to sign with them. I will never use this company again.

Read More The experience started off well enough with a rep named Brendan. Courteous and professional. However, I later found out that he didn't enter everything I told him and when I spoke to the next rep, Eric within days of the move, the rate almost doubled. Eric was totally unprofessional and a smart ass. We decided tomove another way, forfeiting the deposit of $900+. I should have read the reviews first as they seem to do a lot of the "used car salesman" bait and switch. Avoid the stress, headaches of dealing with this company.

Read More I was looking for a convenient to help me move from one state to another so I went online and found this one. They called me and I was looking for a quote didn’t want to settle anything quite yet. I’d like to see my options. I got on the phone with the guy he’s asking me normal questions. Everything‘s going fine and then OK. Thank you so much. Appreciate your time. I’ll get back to you on my options and then the guy starts full on questioning me on what I looking for and I was like not looking for anything besides a quote. I just like to have a view of all my options before I make one decision, and so he’s sitting there arguing with me saying that I’m avoiding the question and then keeps calling me babe which is so unprofessional in itself. Continues with me as I just try to calmly say I’m just looking for my options and then he ends up hanging up literally so unprofessional. Unfortunately I will never be using this company.

This is not an honest company. Do not trust them. They are a broker, not a mover. They will give you a low quote and ask for a deposit. Then when it’s time to move, the ... Read More This is not an honest company. Do not trust them. They are a broker, not a mover. They will give you a low quote and ask for a deposit. Then when it’s time to move, they double or even triple the cost of the move. I ended up canceling my move with them because they were so shady and untrustworthy. Go directly to a verified mover (not a broker) and get a firm quote in writing. Safe ship even deleted their original low quote from the emails they sent me so that I could not refer back to them after they raised the price. I can not emphasize this enough, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
