Read More DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. One of the worse mistakes of my life was ever calling this coming and hiring them. From the get go I felt pressured to lock with them or the quote they gave me would go away. Lies. That’s the theme of this move. After paying my deposit I looked at the quote more closely and realized they had left a lot off of what I told him. I called customer service and was told I’d have to wait until Quality assurance called me to finalize the move. The paperwork they gave me said the colony insurance of call between four and seven days. I started getting nervous because we had no more money to put towards this move and I wanted our inventory correct. After having several conversations with the customer service manager, Kristie I was told they had up to 3 days before. When asked about why my paperwork’s states differently she assured me it didn’t. More lies. 3 days before our move, after calling again, I finally got someone to call me. They kept leaving stuff off the quote and had to redo it. The third time he finally said I don’t care what goes on the truck as long as it’s not over the cubic feet. Never once was I asked specific questions like why type of dressers we had or if there were headboards, etc. even though I said it several times that I had never done this kind of move before. Also, on our paperwork, it shows where we paid $100 to secure our move date because with my husband‘s job we needed to move a certain day so that we could get Internet set up so he could work as he works from home. 24 hours prior to the first day that they say they can move you. You’re supposed to get a call with the time that the moving company will be there. This is when I find out that we will probably not be moved on the Friday that we were told and paid for that it would be a Saturday because they just couldn’t find anybody. Because we had to ask my ex-husband to come and supervise the move so that we could get started to our destination that was almost 20 hours away. It was awful. The boomers kept telling us our furniture oversize that our dressers were not single dressers, which I thought meant they were just a single dresser not that they had more than one drawers. Talked over 700 ft.³ more on the truck than was supposed to go and left a lot of important furniture back where we’re from that we would not be getting to our new place. This caused a huge issue as it would be an extra $24-$3600 just to get our furniture. as we stated before, we did not have that extra money. So here it is over two weeks later, and we still have not gotten our furniture. Just lie on top of lie on top of lie. Please do not use this company. They will not tell you the truth. They will cover up their lies with things that are very unethical and very illegal. I found out from the DOT that legally because our move was 1200 miles. They have 12 business days to get us our stuff, so we’re in that kind of time crunch where if it doesn’t show up today or tomorrow we can file a DOT complaint. Nothing but headache and heartbreak.

They showed exactly when they said they would, worked 8 hours straight, and packed my entire house faster than we had anticipated. I am really happy I hired them since they kept in constant, great contact with me.

Read More Thanks to Elite Van Lines, my daughter’s fairly complicated move last week went off without a hitch. Dan was incredibly helpful in working with me long distance to set up the move, which involved three pickups from Florida, overnight storage and one delivery (combining roommates from 3 locations). The move-outs and the move-in went without a hitch. The movers were professional and, with a crew of 4, they were very fast! They boxed awkward items that we weren’t able to pack ahead of time and securely wrapped furniture with blankets and shrink wrap, so we had no damage at all. It was such a contrast to another “professional” mover we watched on the move-out day – they just hauled out unprotected furniture, lamps and television and loaded it into the truck! So glad we did NOT choose them. I highly recommend Elite Van Lines and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Read More My sister and I had a comfortable move to our 2-bedroom apartment in TX. The movers were friendly, efficient and responsibly dealt with each task. They also made sure to add protective barriers in the trucks so the boxes and cartons would stay in their places during transit. We were over the moon when we received our valuables safely. We wholeheartedly recommend their services to everyone!
