Read More If I could leave zero stars, I absolutely would. My initial conversation with Sheila for my move was wonderful, that conversation was the ONLY one where I felt satisfied with my service. During the time of dealing with Elite Van Lines, my items were transferred from truck to truck, put into storage when it was not requested, it took just shy of six weeks for delivery to my destination, and then I was told I owed even more which the amount then changed when I brought it up from 450$ to 150$ when they were already aware of what to expect at destination location. I take responsibility for the fact that I have not paid the extra 150$ because the entire situation is completely abnormal and seems bordering on criminal with how they handled it. This is not to mention that I received a call from a gentleman in Alaska who received items from my move. He is shipping those items to me which is incurring an additional 120$ amount. There are items/boxes that are as yet lost or unaccounted for. Total paid to company is 3,759.14$ which was 1221.53$ deposit, 1287.61$ on day of pickup and 1250$ paid on day of delivery. I have attempted to reach out to Sheila (my sales representative), Kristie (the “customer service manager”), and the regular customer service team on multiple occasions from July 2nd to today’s date (August 5th) with messages and texts left to request a callback or correspondence in regard to resolving this but without any communication whatsoever. I am seeking reimbursement for the shipping cost from Alaska, the lost items, and the inconvenience of time and no communication.

Moving from a house to an apartment is a major life change, but they made it. I found that I had far more data than I had anticipated.

Read More They were a day late picking up property. They contracted to move my client's household items from Sun City, AZ to Missouri in 10 days. 14 days later and not a word from them. My Client (I listed his home for sale) took two weeks off from work to move and get settled, now he will have to take more time off without pay from his new job. Customer service did not return emails or voicemails from either of us. Terrible service. Do not use them. Cost is approximate.

An estimate at $3388.00 ended up costing me over $11,000 as they sent an unlicensed company who would not communicate with me and damaged over $2000 of my belongings. This was the worst moving experience of my life. They will not help me Get a refund from the movers they sent or refund me. The movers they sent used a Uhaul to pick up took my items so New Jersey and then showed up in an Penske. They were unlicensed and held my items hostage until I agreed to pay more. This is a horrible company who doesn’t care about their customers.

Never showed and couldn’t get ahold of someone. We requested for a Friday pick up got told it’s a 2 day window was never discussed nor in our original paperwork. Day ... Day of on Saturday we have a flight at 3pm leave at 12:30 to go to the airport. No word on what time they come to even try to have someone else there for us. Called over 20 times got voicemail one person we ended up getting said they try to get back to us never ever did. Never showed had to pay for last minute U-Haul instead.

Read More Elite van lines is just a broker who contracts sub standard movers like Green Pelican movers that re-rote an outrageous quote to supersede the previously agreed deal with Elite then threatened to hold our furniture hostage. Finally upon delivery numerous items were damaged beyond repair. We expect to be made whole from this horrible experience trying to move the worldly possessions of an 87yr.old grandmother!!

Then terrible communication They don't even do the job themselves they farm it out to another company and you have to hope these guys are good. But nope they are so bad. All my boxes came warped and had obviously not been looked after well. So far nothing is broken but I'll update. If I was you I would look else where for your move.
